eDoc® Telemedicine/EHR System

ICUcare’s newly enhanced eDoc® Telemedicine/EHR System has a new name to reflect the integration of a multi-discipline EHR system. The new certifiable EHR system has been developed in accordance with the latest release of the HITECH Certification Specifications as published on December 31, 2009. These standards set forth EHR vendor requirements as they relate to "meaningful use" and the associated federally mandated incentive programs.

This development represents an affordable single or multi- practice, multi-discipline, EHR system that deploys in hours as opposed to days or even weeks. The system is so intuitive that it makes everyone in your office look like an experienced IT professional. The system features such an array of custom user interfaces that it seems like it was developed just for your specialty practice and the way you want to work.

News Update: February 13, 2010

ICUcare releases a "beta version" of its much anticipated My eMHR Web Portal. The management of ICUcare continues to demonstrate leadership in the area of real patient-centered healthcare reform by launching the first national, vertically integrated, PHR System of its kind. This new internet based Personal Health Record system provides a model for the creation and deployment of a national electronic medical health records based system. The creation of this model is intended to serve as a message to our leaders in Washington DC. The key to the success for any national based program involving personal medical information on every American should begin with the "by-in of the American people" to whom the program is intended to serve. That is to say, a bottom-up approach would be more likely to be successful, and certainly less costly, than a top-down approach as is presently envisioned.

ICUcare’s new 1st Responders Emergency Telemedicine System is re-scheduled to debut in early June. The management of ICUcare has pushed back the launch date for the highly touted eDoc® 1st Responders Emergency Telemedicine System in order to accommodate the addition of the world’s first wireless six-parameter patient monitor. This new and exciting development will certainly enhance the overall capability of the system in providing additional clinical capabilities for diagnostics of patient vital signs. The new wireless patient monitor will simultaneously handle monitoring and transmission of patient Temp., HR, BP,SPo2, Respiratory and ECG.
